This version includes upper and lowercase letters, punctuation, and many international characters. I also included some new UA Type dingbats (just to amuse myself, and so you don't get those annoying boxes when you type something that isn't in the font).Fonts get sick, too. I personally have seen some really sick-looking fonts. This one seems to have caught a strain of Spotted Fever. But don't worry, it's not still contagious. I used my special font medicine to kill all the germs, but leave the look.

You use this font in any way that you see fit. If you distribute it, I would like for the readme text file to accompany it. (That's just so they know who made it.) You may distribute it on CD, disk, or any other medium, but you may not sell it.

Die Gestalten Verlag (DGV) - Font Licence AgreementLicence ContentsBy purchasing fonts from Gestalten, the user is transferred the right to use a limited number of copies of the original font software.This Licence is non-exclusive and not transferable to third parties. The Single Licence allows the use on up to five (5) devices (such as computer, printer, digital typesetting machine or other machines generating characters for processing) that belong to the same person or company. The Multi-Licence increases the number of devices released for use up to a maximum of twenty (20). In order to further increase the number of devices in excess of this number, additional Multi-Licences have to be acquired. The Licences do not include the right of resale, sub-Licence and electronic transmission. The Licence does not include the right to modify, reformat orotherwise change the source-code of the font.Free FontsFonts placed at disposal free of charge for downloading may be used by the user on an unlimited number of devices in hispossession. Other Licence provisions shall not be affected. Commercial distribution or resale of Gestalten free fonts shall not be permitted.Embedding FontsEmbedding Gestalten fonts into electronic documents (such as PDF, Powerpoint, OpenDoc, PGML or others) is only permitted insofar as same is effected on computers owned by the licensee, and provided, further, that such said computers are registered with a valid license for the said, applicable fonts so embedded. When Gerard Unger was doing the sketches for Capitolium, early in 1998, he considered proposing a sans serif for Rome based on the precursors of imperial Roman capitals. Few of these letters from the republican period have survived. They are partly geometrical, with circular Os, and have very little variation in thickness and very small serifs really not much more than thorns. It was from these letters that sans serifs were developed at the end of the nineteenth century (see Mosley, J., The Nymph and the Grot. The Revival of the Sanserif Letter, London, 1999). However, the Agenzia romana per la preparazione del Giubileo decided that a seriffed type would be more suitable for Rome. In the end he took Vesta (named after the temple of Vesta at Tivoli, the ancestral home of all sans serifs) and developed it further on his own initiative. The Roman geometry has gone, there is now a slight difference between thick and thin, and the letters are narrower.
