The twelve styles in the family were inspired by the dramatic granite formations found in the Sierra Nevada mountains, particularly Half Dome in Yosemite National Park.Massif combines organic flow with crisp readability on screen and in print. Massifs letterforms contain both angular tension and smooth curvature reminiscent of the rugged terrain formed through eons of glacial and tectonic activity. Faults and fissures which define a massif formation are integral to this typeface design which imparts a rich texture on text settings and captures a unique sparkle in headlines. Massif embodies a voice that is rugged and organic yet polished enough to read as a text face. It's a personal response to the uniformity and neutrality of so many sans serif typefaces being released today.

A laptop may be one of the devices in the basic license of 5 devices as long as the laptop is associated primarily with the licensed location. Simply working offsite on a laptop is permissible in the basic license and is regarded as an extension of the site. Work transported from one distinct network to another distinct network, via a laptop requires each network to be licensed properly.Additional licensing is also required if you are installing the font(s) on more than 5 devices (Site License), or a LAN/WAN Server with more than 4 devices, or, if you and/or additional users will have access to the font(s) at more than one location (Corporate License), or, if your printer/service bureau is installing the fonts for job output for more than one-time use (Service Bureau). Lotus is a traditional-style Arabic text face derived from foundry types cut earlier in the 20th Century, based on the calligraphic models in the Ottoman Naskh style (the traditional style of Arabic script for use in printing). Its graceful finials and elegant logotypes contribute to the classic look of the face making it particularly suitable for serious book and journal work. The conversion of the PostScript versions of these fonts to OpenType format has taken full advantage of the latest digital technology, allowing accurate positioning of diacriticals and kerning refinements. The Lotus typeface is available in two weights: Lotus Light and Lotus Bold. These two fonts incorporate the Arabic codepage (CP 1256), and support Arabic and Persian.
