P22 End User License Agreement and Limited WarrantyThank you for purchasing P22 fonts. To ensure that P22 continues to bring you more exciting, historically relevant type, please take the time to read this agreement. It might not be the most fascinating read, but its very important and may answer many questions that you may have. Please register your fonts and remember that free software is an exception, not the rule. 1. Notice to user. You (End User) have not purchased the ownership rights to this font, but rather a license to use this font on a limited basis. Purchasing a license for any P22 font or font distributed by P22 (International House of Fonts, Sherwood Collection and other) via download, or e-mail, constitutes an agreement between P22 type foundry, Inc (P22) and the end user of the enclosed typefaces (software) that the terms and conditions of this contract will be followed. If the fonts are purchased in hard copy format (CD-ROM or floppy disk), removing the media from its protective sleeve (paper pouch, DVD cases, or other) in which the media is contained constitutes the same agreement. The basic P22 distributed software license is limited for use on a total of 5 devices at one site for use on a single platform. A device is defined as a computer, printer, character generator, server or any other machine that uses font data to rasterize letterforms. A site is defined as one physical location. Platform refers to operating systems designated as 'Macintosh', 'Windows' or other. A laptop may be one of the devices in the basic license of 5 devices as long as the laptop is associated primarily with the licensed location. Simply working offsite on a laptop is permissible in the basic license and is regarded as an extension of the site. Work transported from one distinct network to another distinct network, via a laptop requires each network to be licensed properly.Additional licensing is also required if you are installing the font(s) on more than 5 devices (Site License), or a LAN/WAN Server with more than 4 devices, or, if you and/or additional users will have access to the font(s) at more than one location (Corporate License), or, if your printer/service bureau is installing the fonts for job output for more than one-time use (Service Bureau). Most alphanumeric fonts are allowable without additional licensing provided that the Grant of License guidelines are met. However, the use of illustrative elements (also known as dingbats, extras, ornaments) within logo design requires an additional one-time license. Der Lizenzgeber im Sinne dieser Lizenz ist diejenige natrliche oder juristische Person oder Gruppe, die den Schutzgegenstand unter den Bedingungen dieser Lizenz anbietet und insoweit als Rechteinhaberin auftritt. 6. Rechteinhaber im Sinne dieser Lizenz ist der Urheber des Schutzgegenstandes oder jede andere natrliche oder juristische Person oder Gruppe von Personen, die am Schutzgegenstand ein Immaterialgterrecht erlangt hat, welches die in Abschnitt 3 genannten Handlungen erfasst und bei dem eine Einrumung von Nutzungsrechten oder eine Weiterbertragung an Dritte mglich ist. 7. Der Begriff Schutzgegenstand bezeichnet in dieser Lizenz den literarischen, knstlerischen oder wissenschaftlichen Inhalt, der unter den Bedingungen dieser Lizenz angeboten wird. Das kann insbesondere eine persnliche geistige Schpfung jeglicher Art, ein Werk der kleinen Mnze, ein nachgelassenes Werk oder auch ein Lichtbild oder anderes Objekt eines verwandten Schutzrechts sein, unabhngig von der Art seiner Fixierung und unabhngig davon, auf welche Weise jeweils eine Wahrnehmung erfolgen kann, gleichviel ob in analoger oder digitaler Form. Soweit Datenbanken oder Zusammenstellungen von Daten einen immaterialgterrechtlichen Schutz eigener Art genieen, unterfallen auch sie dem Begriff Schutzgegenstand im Sinne dieser Lizenz. 8. Mit Sie bzw. Ihnen ist die natrliche oder juristische Person gemeint, die in dieser Lizenz im Abschnitt 3 genannte Nutzungen des Schutzgegenstandes vornimmt und zuvor in Hinblick auf den Schutzgegenstand nicht gegen Bedingungen dieser Lizenz verstoen oder aber die ausdrckliche Erlaubnis des Lizenzgebers erhalten hat, die durch diese Lizenz gewhrten Nutzungsrechte trotz eines vorherigen Verstoes auszuben. 9. Unter ffentlich Zeigen im Sinne dieser Lizenz sind Verffentlichungen und Prsentationen des Schutzgegenstandes zu verstehen, die fr eine Mehrzahl von Mitgliedern der ffentlichkeit bestimmt sind und in unkrperlicher Form mittels ffentlicher Wiedergabe in Form von Vortrag, Auffhrung, Vorfhrung, Darbietung, Sendung, Weitersendung, zeit- und ortsunabhngiger Zugnglichmachung oder in krperlicher Form mittels Ausstellung erfolgen, unabhngig von bestimmten Veranstaltungen und unabhngig von den zum Einsatz kommenden Techniken und Verfahren, einschlielich drahtgebundener oder drahtloser Mittel und Einstellen in das Internet. 10. Vervielfltigen im Sinne dieser Lizenz bedeutet, mittels beliebiger Verfahren Vervielfltigungsstcke des Schutzgegenstandes herzustellen, insbesondere durch Ton- oder Bildaufzeichnungen, und umfasst auch den Vorgang, erstmals krperliche Fixierungen des Schutzgegenstandes sowie Vervielfltigungsstcke dieser Fixierungen anzufertigen, sowie die bertragung des Schutzgegenstandes auf einen Bild- oder Tontrger oder auf ein anderes elektronisches Medium, gleichviel ob in digitaler oder analoger Form. 11. Mit Creative Commons kompatible Lizenz bezeichnet eine Lizenz, die unter http://creativecommons.org/compatiblelicenses aufgelistet ist und die durch Creative Commons als grundstzlich zur vorliegenden Lizenz quivalent akzeptiert wurde, da zumindest folgende Voraussetzungen erfllt sind: Diese mit Creative Commons kompatible Lizenz 1. enthlt Bestimmungen, welche die gleichen Ziele verfolgen, die gleiche Bedeutung haben und die gleichen Wirkungen erzeugen wie die Lizenzelemente der vorliegenden Lizenz; und 2. erlaubt ausdrcklich das Lizenzieren von ihr unterstellten Abwandlungen unter vorliegender Lizenz, unter einer anderen rechtsordnungsspezifisch angepassten Creative-Commons-Lizenz mit denselben Lizenzelementen, wie sie die vorliegende Lizenz aufweist, oder unter der entsprechenden Creative-Commons-Unported-Lizenz.2. Den Schutzgegenstand in beliebiger Form und Menge zu vervielfltigen, ihn in Sammelwerke zu integrieren und ihn als Teil solcher Sammelwerke zu vervielfltigen; 2. Abwandlungen des Schutzgegenstandes anzufertigen, einschlielich bersetzungen unter Nutzung jedweder Medien, sofern deutlich erkennbar gemacht wird, dass es sich um Abwandlungen handelt; 3. den Schutzgegenstand, allein oder in Sammelwerke aufgenommen, ffentlich zu zeigen und zu verbreiten; 4. Abwandlungen des Schutzgegenstandes zu verffentlichen, ffentlich zu zeigen und zu verbreiten. 5. Bezglich Vergtung fr die Nutzung des Schutzgegenstandes gilt Folgendes: 1. Unverzichtbare gesetzliche Vergtungsansprche: Soweit unverzichtbare Vergtungsansprche im Gegenzug fr gesetzliche Lizenzen vorgesehen oder Pauschalabgabensysteme (zum Beispiel fr Leermedien) vorhanden sind, behlt sich der Lizenzgeber das ausschlieliche Recht vor, die entsprechende Vergtung einzuziehen fr jede Ausbung eines Rechts aus dieser Lizenz durch Sie. 2. Es beinhaltet auch das Recht, solche nderungen am Schutzgegenstand vorzunehmen, die fr bestimmte nach dieser Lizenz zulssige Nutzungen technisch erforderlich sind. Alle sonstigen Rechte, die ber diesen Abschnitt hinaus nicht ausdrcklich durch den Lizenzgeber eingerumt werden, bleiben diesem allein vorbehalten. Soweit Datenbanken oder Zusammenstellungen von Daten Schutzgegenstand dieser Lizenz oder Teil dessen sind und einen immaterialgterrechtlichen Schutz eigener Art genieen, verzichtet der Lizenzgeber auf smtliche aus diesem Schutz resultierenden Rechte.4. Erlschen 1.
