Off-site use A copy of the Products may be given to a Service Bureau or Printer provided; the Service Bureau or printer also has a license to use the Products; or an additional written license grants this right.EmbeddingProducts may be embedded into electronic documents on unlicensed CPUs provided that;a) electronic documents are distributed in a form that allows only printing and previewing but does not allow editing of the text in any way or;b) electronic documents are for personal and or internal business use only;If performance of the Products cannot be restricted to print and view only, the Products may only be used on licensed CPUs. End User may terminate this agreement at any time by returning all Products and documentation, Distributor not being liable for any indemnity or refund. Limited liability Any limited or implied warranties are effective for a period of (90) days from proof of delivery date. Products should be free from errors in normal use. If the Products fails to comply with this warranty, Distributor will, at its own cost, replace defective media or refund the license fee except if misuse has caused the failure. Distributor will not warrant the performance of Products or documentation. If End User fails to prove the Product was obtained from an authorized source, the Distributor shall have no responsibility to correct any faults. The foregoing states the sole extent of Distributor's breach of warranty and makes no warranties covering third party rights. Liability Under no circumstances will Distributor be liable to any party for any consequential, incidental or indirect damages, including loss of business, profits or information, interruption of business, etc., arising from use or misuse of the Products whether known or advised. A typeface family inspired by both industrial type designs such as DIN and Isonorm, and typefaces with organic curves such as Cooper Black. One skeleton, two families: robust and rigid sanserif Akko, the soft and friendly Akko Rounded and Akko Condensed. Each family has six weights (Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black). Italics are available throughout the family. The initial idea was to create a sanserif type with a soft-focus effect. With rounded corners the overall look has a friendly touch, although its skeleton has a hint of German Textura type. Characteristics: 1. simple and compact letterform. Especially the capital letters are space-saving. 2. subtly curved diagonal strokes on A,V, K, v, y, etc. so that the junction creates less dark spot. 3. extra ligatures such as c-t and s-t for adding historical touch. Also for the German language the c-h, c-k and the s-c-h ligatures have been reintroduced. It makes sense in contemporary usage where space is crutial. 4. soft-focused but clear and legible letterforms. A clear distinction between the cap 'I', the figure '1' and the lowercase 'l', and the 'O' and the 'zero'. 5. lining and oldstyle figures are available.

Originally released in 1991 in a standard character set, Iowan Old Style was designed by noted sign painter John Downer and is classified as a Venetian old style type design. It is related to earlier, 20th-century American interpretations of Italian Renaissance types cut by Nicolas Jenson and Francesco Griffo, but it is modeled also on classical inscriptional lettering and sign painting seen in certain regions of eastern Iowa, where Downer has lived for many years. In 2000, the expert and old style figure font sets were finally released, and in 2002 a new titling font was added to round out the family. Iowan Old Style is a hardy contemporary text design with a larger x-height, tighter letterfit and reproportioned capitals, and it is perfectly suited for use in fine book settings.
