The ITC New Veljovic(R) Font Family is an update, optimization of the shapes, proportions and an enlargement of character set of ITC Veljovic which was published by Jovica Veljovic as his first work at International Typeface Corporation in 1984. The typeface with its classic, clear and open forms appears by its sharp serifs as they would have been set in stone. Capitals exude Roman elegance and monumentality. But also subtly distributed calligraphic elements are recognizable in the upright and particularly in the italic styles.Even though this typeface family is completely drawn in its original form in all eight sections by hand, it indicates the strong contrast to a calligraphic flair in the darker italic styles.
