Originally issued in only one weight, the ATF version of Franklin Gothic was eventually expanded to include five additional weights, but no light or intermediate weights were ever developed. In 1979, under license from ATF, ITC developed four new weights in roman and italic: book, medium, demi and heavy. Designed by Victor Caruso, ITC s new weights matched the original face s characteristics, but featured a slightly enlarged lowercase x-height. ITC Franklin Gothic also features a slightly condensed lowercase a-z alphabet. Assset was inspired by the engraved letters found on US currency (Dollars). Asset belongs to the category fat face because it is so bold or heavy. It is also a high contrast design and very extended or wide. Although it is legible at medium sizes it will shine most when used large where both its restraint and passion can be seen. This font was made specifically to be web type, however it will work well in print as well.

If you do not wish to be bound by the Agreement, you cannot access, use or download the font software. Please read all of the Agreement before you agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.LicenseYou are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-assignable, non-transferable license to access the font software only in a Basic User License, only for your Personal or Internal Business Use, and subject to all of the terms and conditions of the Agreement.
