    Description

I have been supressing this font for I don't know how much time, but I think it's finally time to set it free. I had just learned all the rules and stuff of serious typography and I wanted to give my serifitated capabilities a go, so I practiced on this font, and it came out pretty pretty, don't you think? It's named after an old online pal of mine, Phank's her nickname - she's real good to people and I like her attitude so I thought I'd call this one after her. I believe people actually call this a girlie font, don't they? All those curly-wurly-ends of strokes and deco-ish style kind of make it, in some way, feminine.

Destruction is free. The degeneration process of a brilliant font can be very quick, and fucking fast, too.Blockquote is my favorite HTML tag - in fact, it's implemented all over this website including this very own hypertext document! This particular HTML tag does nothing special but to indent the written paragraph further into the page, so that the reading will be more comfortable.Heavy fonts are beautiful, no? Here is a proof that heavy fonts can be ugly, too.

    Description

I drew this font in my class's weekly Philsophy class. This class is one of the only classes we have on our schedule which is dedicated to more spiritual things, other than electronic gadgets and mathematical equations. It is also one of those classes that everybody sleeps in. We have padded chairs. So I sit in a very unhealthy posture on my blue, padded chair, while the rest of the class is half-sleeping, discussing the matter of life and death itself, concentrating on the deep, invisible truth of life. And beauty sleep.I am alive. I made a font. I show my friends and they laugh and giggle at me once more because I have no life and I draw fonts and naked chicks (but I always censor the good parts, mom) all the time. And they went back to sleep.

    Description

Some people call me Meiry. This is my first font ever. I took graphic design classes then, and I saw this wonderful little stencil looking all innocent, lying in some drawer with nothing really special to do. So I took it home. At first, I started writing little notes in people's study notebooks in school using my little nice stencil as a way of making nice letters that came out looking so grungey-cool.Then, I saw how everybody makes fonts and I wanted to make a font myself, too. So I thought and thought of an idea for a typeface - and suddenly, it stroke me like a lightning! I sat down and scribbled the entire basic font character set using my little limited stencil. I cleaned them all up a bit in Photoshop and brung into Fontographer.

    Description

was drawing these letters in class. Many a times. Sometimes I would catch a phrase or two said in class, something like Facism or Equation, and type it down in those letters. This is sort of a serif-type experiment, like Phank was, but this time I paid more attention to the actual terminals and hairlines and strokes and widths and bowls and crossbars and whatnot. You can judge for yourselves if I'm doing any better...I don't know why I called this one Quincy. I don't know anyone by that name, but it sort of just welded fine with the spirit of this text - official yet very sleazy, in handwritten kind of way. Erm. YeahI was too lazy to make low-case letters. Maybe some other time.
